The 27th of April seen Digital Classroom team members Doug Goldie (Engineering Senior Instructor), Andrew Treadaway (Forestry Lecturer) and Ali Hastie (e-Learning Developer) measuring and scoping out the Kirkmchael Seminar Room.
Previous to making the Digital Classroom order with the contractors (Mediascape), the team were tasked to measure the Kirkmichael room using the Teammate Ellipse Tables dimensions (1200mm width x 2000mm length) in order to determine how many of the collaborative tables would fit comfortably within the room.
It was determined that five Teammate Ellipse tables (with six chairs at each table), instead of the provisional six, would provide the ability for the students to easily interact with one another and move around the room easily.
