Friday the 4th of May 2018 seen the SRUC Learning Space project team take a visit to UWS Paisley Campus to view their well embedded technology-led collaborative learning spaces. Previous to this visit to Paisley campus, the project team were initially calling SRUC’s initiative ‘The Digital Classroom’.
One area of emphasis from the team at Paisley Campus was: “Try and not call your room the Digital Classroom, this may well scare staff and students away with being Digital”.

Among many areas in which the SRUC team learned from this hugely beneficial visit to the Campus was the freely available space within their rooms for both the staff and the students. Hence, the SRUC team quickly decided going from 6 collaborative tables (36 chairs) down to 4 collaborative tables (30 chairs) for the new learning space at Barony Campus.
